Suspect arrested after alleged beating death of Conway man

CONWAY, Ark. (KTHV) -- A Hot Springs man was arrested for beating one Faulkner County man to death and seriously injuring another.

Around 1:30 a.m. on Thursday, Faulkner County Deputies were dispatched to Mount Gale Rd. in Conway in reference to a homicide. When deputies arrived on the scene, they found two men in the home.

Bradley Stinton, 52, was found and appeared to be beaten to death. A second victim was severely injured and transported to Baptist Health in Little Rock for treatment.

Through speaking with witnesses and neighbors, deputies gathered information on the suspect, 52-year-old Richard Williford.

At 5:35 a.m., deputies responded to another Conway address on Winwood Loop regarding a man who called himself "Ricky" with no shirt saying he was homeless and needed a ride.

Williford was taken to be interviewed and then transported to the Faulkner County Jail.

Two other women are also wanted for questioning. According to the Faulkner County Sheriff's Office, Laura Henson, 28, and Amanda Turney, 34, may be able to provide information regarding the homicide.
