News

MAYFLOWER, Ark. (KTHV) – It was reported Thursday afternoon that part of I-40 near the Mayflower exit was set to be temporarily shut down that night for power line repairs, but Entergy Arkansas has changed its plans.

According to Danny Straessle with the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD), Arkansas State Police were to temporarily shut down I-40 eastbound and westbound at mile marker 137 near Mayflower at 6 p.m. Thursday, but Sally Graham with Entergy told THV11 that it is now unnecessary.

If plans to do work on this portion of the interstate do occur, stay with THV11 for updates.
