Panera Bread going pink for breast cancer awareness
News

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (Panera Bread) - October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and every year Panera Bread bakers craft and bake a special Pink Ribbon bagel.

These bagels are now available for pre-order and will be sold throughout October to benefit the Women's Resource Center at Baptist Health.

So what exactly is a Pink Ribbon Bagel? Shaped in the form of the iconic pink ribbon, these bagels feature cherry chips, dried cherries and cranberries, vanilla, honey, and brown sugar, and are baked fresh early each morning by Panera's bakers at each bakery-cafe.

Panera Bread will donate 100% of proceeds from its signature Pink Ribbon Bagel sold on Tuesday, October 1 to Baptist Health. For the remainder of October, Panera Bread will donate twenty-five cents of the proceeds from each Pink Ribbon Bagel sold.

Participating Panera Bread locations are at the Pleasant Ridge Town Center on Cantrell Road in Little Rock, the Lakewood Village Shopping Center in North Little Rock and The Village at Hendrix in Conway.

The Baptist Health Women's Resource Center's mission is to foster healing, encourage healthy lifestyles, support informed decision making and promote understanding through education.
