Police narrow down time frame of pastor's murder | News
MEMPHIS, Tenn. (KTHV) - Neither suspect nor motive has surfaced in the murder of former University of Central Arkansas basketball star and Benton preacher Jimmy McClain.
Public information officer Chip Washington, with the Shelby County Sheriff's Office in Memphis, said no new information has been uncovered in the murder case, but he did say that investigators are currently soliciting information from the public.
He said the time frame of his death has been narrowed down to Feb. 20 between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m.
McCalin was found dead inside his home Friday after McClain hadn't showed up for work in several days, but police have not said what exactly caused his death.
