CONWAY, Ark. (KTHV) -- Conway Police and U.S. Marshals have arrested Antwan Fowler, 27, on murder and firearms charges stemming from a shootout on Ingram back in June.

You may recall -- police say just after midnight on June 20, Fowler was involved in an argument with Stevie Thomas, 28. According to the report, the two exchanged gunfire at close range. Fowler was shot several times, at least once in the head. Thomas' brother Kenneth attempted to drive him to the hospital, but lost control of the vehicle and crashed. Kenneth was airlifted to a Little Rock hospital and treated; his brother Stevie died at Conway Regional for his injuries.

Fowler is currently being held in the Faulker County Detention Center without bond.

Police: Suspects wake kids, steal money, kill man

CONWAY, Ark. (KTHV) -- Conway police are investigating a homicide that occurred around 12:30 am on Addy Brook.

The victim, 48-year-old Mark Hill Sr., was shot multiple times when three or four men kicked in the door of his home.  They demanded money.According to Latresha Woodruff with the Conway Police Department, Hill was in the bedroom, there was possibly a struggle then he was shot.

There were three children in the house along with Hill’s girlfriend.  The kids were in the living room at the time.  According to the kids one of the men woke them up and ordered them into the living room.  The suspects left with some money but not sure what if anything else.  The people didn’t seem to recognize the men, though Woodruff says the incident does not look like a random act.

The investigation is ongoing. Today's THV will release more information as it becomes available.

CONWAY, Ark. – A First Security Bank customer contacted Conway Police shortly after 2:00 Tuesday morning to report damage to the bank’s teller window.  When officers got to the scene at 1090 Old Morrilton Highway they found a hole in the teller window. 

Officers also found a black object with batteries attached.  A technician with the Conway Fire Department says there were no obvious signs that this object was an explosive device, it’s been sent out for testing.

CONWAY, Ark. -- Conway detectives believe a woman knocked on an elderly lady's door July 7  to borrow some laundry detergent . While the lady was getting the detergent, police say she took the lady's debit card from her purse and quickly left.

She was seen driving a dark-colored 2000s-model Chevrolet Malibu or Oldsmobile.

CONWAY, Ark. -- The Faulkner County "Booked" information includes mugshot photos of people arrested in Faulkner County, as well as a description of what the person was cited for. The site is also searchable by a list of offenses.

Woman sentenced for leaving kids home alone

CONWAY, Ark. – 25 year old Gleniesha Henson pleaded guilty to two counts of endangering the welfare of a minor and was sentenced to 180 days in jail.  Police arrested Henson back in March after finding her five year old and five month old children home alone. 

Officer Travis Caldwell was the first officer to respond to the apartment.  He found the five year old sitting watching television.  Officer Caldwell searched the apartment and located the five month old sleeping in a car seat in a back bedroom, soaked in her own urine. 

Henson initially told police that she left the children in the care of her boyfriend but later admitted to leaving the children home alone saying, “I was angry at my kids.  I had to leave before I hurt them.”  Caldwell says he was saddened by what he saw; he’s satisfied with the judge’s ruling, “What she did was irresponsible and dangerous, maybe some time in jail will cause her to think

Police arrest suspect 20 minutes after stabbing

CONWAY, Ark. – Conway Police got a call shortly after 10 pm Wednesday night from a woman saying her boyfriend had been stabbed several times.  When police got to the scene at 701 First Street they found James Shugart bleeding in the doorway of his home.

Shugart told officers he awoke to banging on the door of his trailer and when he went to open the door to see what was going on, a man named Jesse Garret was outside.  The victim says after a verbal altercation Garrett started stabbing him. 

Police canvassed the area and located the suspect about 20 minutes later just a few blocks from the scene and arrested him without any trouble.  Garrett is in the Faulkner County Detention Center, he faces charges of first-degree battery and terroristic threatening.
