CONWAY, Ark. -- Every young lady deserves a magical night at her prom and UCA Sororities are making an effort to make this year’s prom just that.

Lindsey Osborne, Coordinator of Sorority Life for the five University Sororities, says “Cinderella’s Closet” allows young ladies to shop for their prom dresses and save money. The dresses sell for just $5 a piece making prom night more affordable. It gives some girls, who might not be able attend because of cost, a chance for a beautiful gown.

The Two-Day Sale was held recently at First Presbyterian Church in Conway where 50-60 girls were able to shop. Due to some mix-ups in dates, Osborne says the opportunity to shop is being extended. To arrange to try on dresses, call 501-450-5889.

Osborne says the UCA Sororities like to support local causes that help people right here at home. With that in mind, Bethlehem House, Conway’s only homeless shelter, will receive all proceeds from “Cinderella’s Closet” plus a donation from Sorority Life.

Bethlehem House is a non-profit Christian based charity, feeding the hungry and helping the homeless.
