Valentine Gala to benefit Bethlehem House

Bethlehem House will host its twelfth annual Valentine Gala and Auction will be at 6 p.m., Friday, Feb. 3 at oneChurch in downtown Conway.

Bethlehem House is a transitional shelter in Conway that seeks to encourage, equip, and motivate homeless and nearly homeless individuals and families to take the necessary steps to improve their life situations.

“The Gala is extremely important because it is our major fundraiser to supply Operation Funds at the shelter,” Executive Director Judi Lively said.

“The Valentine Gala experience improves year after year. It’s normally a sell-out event and we are expecting this year to be no exception.” Lively added. “We are currently gathering items to be used in the live and silent auctions. Donating auction items is a great way for local businesses to show off their goods and services while supporting our ministry to the hungry and homeless.”

“Miss Arkansas Savannah Skidmore will attend this year’s event and help with the live auction. Shawn Hammontree will serve as auctioneer, and Preston Palmer will provide entertainment. And, as always, we will enjoy a delicious dinner provided by PattiCakes Bakery, Pasta Grill and Stoby’s,” said Lively.

Tickets are $35 each and table sponsorships are still available by contacting Lively at 501-329-4862 or emailing bhouse@conwaycorp.net. Tickets may be purchased at Bethlehem House, 1115 Parkway Street or online at bethlehemhouse.net. For additional information or to donate a silent auction item, call 501.205.0905.
